We work on a contingent search basis as opposed to a retained search basis. For corporate clients, we offer a fee of 25% and a discounted 20% fee for our non-profit and government clients.
- Retained Search based firms ask for an upfront portion of their overall fee to begin the work, typically installments throughout the process, finishing at the hire stage.
- Contingent Search based firms only receive a fee once the candidate accepts the role and starts the job.
Our Philosophy on Placement Fees:
- The benefit, as we see it, is contingency based search gives us a low barrier to entry for clients to try our service. We are confident that we only need them to try, the rest we will deliver.
- Contingency Search firms are traditionally used for lower-level placements to allow clients to get a feel for the process before they fully commit financially. To this we would ask, why would we be allowed to test the service at lower expense levels but need to buy blind at the most expensive level?
- Retained search firms will tell you that the retained model drives more engagement and a quick overall hire between both parties. To which we would ask, whose engagement are you paying for?
